I finally managed to get to a scanner, so I have a bunch of images I'm going to trickle feed into my gallery here. Most of them are sketches since my husband won't let me ink anything. He's of the opinion that all the energy and detail work and shading I put into a picture is lost when I ink the most important lines and erase everything else. I'm just thinking "That's not detail and shading. That's scribbles." But I guess that's true love. I mean, I'm kind of the same way with my daughter's art, which is why it ends up in a keepsake box instead of the recycling.
I have self-published a book in electronic format. You can get it from Amazon or Barnes & Noble:
I am still working on more drawing guides. I think I'm going to start collecting them into a how-to book. Would it be alright if I made the assumption that everyone has already read the basics in the thousands of other books that are out there?
Oh, and the freaking out part...Yeah, life is crazy. I have a part time job, that I'm trying to turn into a full time gig. The job market is kinda thin and everything takes longer up here. Plus school is pretty crazy. You know, the usual..
